I wouldn't upgrade right now to anything higher than v7 fp8, because fp9 and fp10 as well as v8 fp3 are buggy, i.e. limiting log space to 4 GB. For more info search sap notes.
SAP are preparing intermediate fixes but these fixes haven't been tested up to my knowledge.
