Hallo zusammen,
ich kämpfe mich gerade durch meine erste V8 Installation. Lt. Installation Guide bin ich bei Step 18, der DSNTIJRX ist gelaufen.
Auf Empfehlung von SAP läuft bei uns jetzt standardmässig der DSNTIJCL. Und der tut’s nicht, genauer gesagt der Befehl
BIND PACKAGE (DSNAOCLI) MEMBER(DSNCLIMS) ENCODING(EBCDIC)
führt zu

Wenn ich jetzt die Doku recht verstehe, meckert er eine Konvertierung des CCSID an. Ich hab‘ meine Konvertierungstabelle schon so weit aufgebohrt, das der DSNTIJSG läuft. Die Hinweise zu dem PTF helfen mir auch nicht recht weiter.

btw. warum muss ich bei einer Neuinstallation von DB2 V8 den DSNTIJTC laufen lassen und den Catalog ändern?
