    Hi folks,
    I would like to share some experiences about DB2 10 for z/OS. Don’t hesitate to contribute your own!

    Beta testing parties reported an increase of storage usage. They talked about 10-30% additional real memory consumption.

    In conversion mode (V9CM) we did not recognize a significant change of storage consumption.

    New DB2 V10 sample programms, e.g. DSNTEP2, DSNTEP4, DSNTIAUL, … are available with NFM, not in CM.

    Slight increase of basic CPU comsumption of …[list bull-bluearrow][*]IRLM SRB CPU time

    [/list]… costs approx. 20 CPU seconds per day per subsystem. Currently no lab results and/or corrections available.

    Significant increase of basic CPU consumption of … [list bull-redarrow][*]MSTR TCP CPU time
    if correction of z/OS APAR OA37821 is not installed. (PTF ist one of UA63986 UA63987 UA63988 UA63989). See also http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg1PM49816 – High DB2 Master CPU noticed on idle system where multiple DB2 V10 are active.
