Codepage Problem beim Restore

    Hallo Forumgemeinde,

    bei der Rücksicherung einer DB auf der gleichen Maschine aber in eine andere Instanz habe ich ein Codepage Problem.

    SQL2548N Database codepage "1252" indicated in the backup image differs from
    that of the current on-disk database codepage "819". The Restore operation has failed.

    Hat jemand einen Tip wie ich das Problem lösen kann??

    Hallo Ingod,

    vor dem Restore die Zieldatenbank als Skelett anlegen, z.B. mit …
    [tt]
    create database xxxx on ‚/pfad‘
    using codeset 1252 territory de
    collate using system
    catalog tablespace managed by system using (‚/pfad‘)
    user tablespace managed by database using (file ‚/pfad/usrspc‘ 161)
    temporary tablespace managed by system using (‚pfad‘)";
    [/tt]
    Dann gibt’s keine Probleme mit der Codepage.

    Ursache düfte der "locale" (Command!)auf dem Server sein, z.B. en_GB oder en_US.
